Plain pricing

The boat price includes skipper, fuel and drinks — only three things cost extra

No surprises on the day: every extra is listed here before you book.

Always included in the boat price

  • Fuel for the whole route
  • Water, soft drinks, beer and prosecco
  • Snacks and fresh fruit
  • Snorkel masks and beach towels
  • Shade awning and bathing ladder

Paid separately, only if you want them

  • Lunch. Your skipper can book a table by the water in Capri, Nerano or Positano, or you bring your own and eat at anchor.
  • Capri harbour landing fee, about €100 per boat. Charged by the port, paid only if you decide to go ashore.
  • Blue Grotto rowboat ticket, about €19 per person. Cash on the spot, and only when the sea is calm enough to enter.

How booking works

Three messages between you and the boat — €100 deposit, balance on the day

1

Send the request

Form or WhatsApp: which tour, which date, how many of you. It takes about a minute.

2

Get the written quote

Boat, price and availability in writing, usually within the hour. Nothing to pay at this point.

3

Lock the date with €100

Happy with it? A €100 deposit holds the boat. The balance is settled on the day, at the pier.

Why Positano Boat Rental

Out of the port and straight into the good part of the day

Positano is the middle of the coast
From the Spiaggia Grande pier, Li Galli are ten minutes away, Amalfi half an hour and Capri about forty, so more of your day goes to swimming and less to travelling. Staying near Naples or Pompeii? We can leave from Castellammare di Stabia instead.
A boat for the group you actually are
Five skippered boats from 7 to 12 guests, plus licence-free boats if you'd rather take the wheel. You pay for the boat that fits, not for a one-size-fits-all package.
The quote is the bill
Skipper, fuel, drinks and gear are in the price. The only extras are lunch and the optional Capri landing and Blue Grotto tickets, and you know about them before you book.

Before you ask — departure, prices, payment, weather

From the pier on Spiaggia Grande, the main beach of Positano. If you are staying on the Naples or Pompeii side we can arrange departure from Castellammare di Stabia on request. The exact meeting point and a map arrive with your booking confirmation.
For the whole boat. A full day on the Mimì 850 (up to 8 guests) is €800 to Capri and €900 to Positano or along the Amalfi Coast; on the Rio 35 (up to 12) it is €1,300 to Capri and €1,500 to Positano or the Amalfi Coast. Alberto's boats start from €750 on the Jeranto 7.50 S (up to 7), from €1,200 on the Raffaelli 37 (up to 12) and from €1,500 on the Itama 38 (up to 10). The number of people does not change the price.
Nothing upfront: you receive a quote first. Once date and boat are agreed, a €100 deposit locks the day and the balance is paid on the day of the tour.
You choose between another date and a full refund of what you have paid. The skipper makes the call on sea conditions, usually the evening before or early that morning.
Yes. Capri, the Amalfi Coast and Positano are the usual choices, but the day is yours: tell the skipper where you would like to swim, whether you want to go ashore and how long to spend at each stop.
Professional skipper, fuel, soft drinks, beer and prosecco, snacks and fruit, snorkel masks, towels, shade awning and bathing ladder. Not included: lunch, the Capri harbour landing fee and the Blue Grotto ticket.
Every boat has a shade awning, and the Mimì 850, Jeranto 7.50 S, Raffaelli 37 and Itama 38 have a toilet on board. If a toilet matters for your group, say so when you ask for a quote and we will suggest the right boat.
Landing in Capri harbour costs about €100 per boat and is only paid if you want to go ashore. The Blue Grotto rowboat ticket is about €19 per person, paid in cash on the spot, and entry depends on the sea being calm.
Yes, on request. If you are staying near Naples, Pompeii or Vesuvius, departing from Castellammare di Stabia saves you the drive to Positano. Mention it in the form or on WhatsApp and we will confirm it in the quote.
